Roller Blinds

From ultra modern apartment living to traditional style kitchens roller blinds very rarely look out of place. With such a vast selection of fabrics and the scope for personalising each blind with a number of different options roller blinds offer a versatile and decorative choice

Here at Devonshire blinds we are very proud to manufacture our roller blinds in our own workshop here at our premises in Thornton. This allows us to ensure that every blind is made to our exacting high standards and offer a fantastic choice of fabrics and options for your new roller blinds.

Components
No matter what fabric you use or how skilled the person making the blind is you can’t make a good roller blind that will last the test of time without using good components that’s why all our roller blinds are constructed using genuine Louvolite components manufactured in the UK. Having worked in partnership with Louvolite for over 20 years we know they share our values of quality, service and value for money plus we know that they will provide reliable trouble free service to our customers for many years.

Here at Devonshire blinds we use two Louvolite roller blind systems to ensure that we can make the ideal blind for your home or office. Our “standard” system is constructed on a 32mm aluminium tube that by most people’s standards would be considered a heavy-duty system but as you would expect from us when our reputation is on the line we only like to use the best, so we use this as standard. When there is the need for a really heavy-duty system we use a 40mm aluminium tube that can be used to create blinds for some of the most demanding applications.

Whichever system you choose your blind will be constructed using the latest in no-sew techniques. This means your blind will not have a pocket sewn into the bottom creating a line of holes along the bottom edge with a loose piece of wood or plastic slid in we use either precision integrated no stitch clear plastic bottom bar or optionally a non stitch integrated aluminium bottom bar. One of the major benefits of this system is that after a number of years as your tastes change and your décor evolves you might find that your blind no blind no longer suits your style. This is no problem with our roller systems as you can simple recover your existing system with a new fabric saving yourself time and money in the future.

Fabrics
Unlike many other companies who buy their blinds in from a wholesale manufacturer we are not held to one central suppliers limited range of fabrics. We deal direct with a number of carefully selected fabric manufacturers and suppliers meaning we can get a vast range of different fabrics which we know meet our high standards but buying it direct we can still provide great value for money.

Our range of fabrics offers an eclectic mix of beautiful traditional design right through to contemporary design and colour way which will suite the most modern décor. Our extensive collection even features specialist fabrics including sheer fabrics, blackout fabrics, specialist solar control coated fabrics even fabrics which are fully waterproof, fire retardant or both. Most of these fabrics can be complemented with a wide range of finishing touches such as: scallops, eyelets, braids or café rods to give your blind a unique finish that complements your décor.

Once you choose your ideal fabric we manufacture your new roller blinds completely by hand right through from cutting the aluminium to braiding the scallops on the finished blind. This ensures you get your perfect blind perfectly finished.

Our commitment to quality fabrics and components ensures your blinds will look great not just when they are installed but for many years to come, this combined with our commitment to offering great value prices means that you get probably the best value blinds available.

Motorisation
If you have an inaccessible window, you would like the convenience and security of having your blinds operate even if you are not there or you just want the ultimate in luxury window dressing then motorised roller blinds might be suitable for you. Working in partnership with Somfy one of the world leaders in home automation we offer a vast range of motorisation options for our roller blinds.
